Art is just as much a part of me as my name. I have been creating some form of art since I can remember, due to my family encouraging me and making it possible. Throughout grade school and high school I had great art teachers that helped me develop my God-given talent. I created numerous t-shirt designs which in time sparked an interest in Graphic Design.
I attended The University of Oklahoma and studied a variety of art media including graphic design, serigraphy (the art of screen printing), photography, and ceramics. I graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communications and was privileged to travel to Europe on a mission trip that summer. My love for photography grew there...I couldn’t put my camera down! Later that year, I began teaching high school art and fell more in love with ceramics, photography, and graphic design.
Soon after, I met my husband. Now that we have a beautiful daughter of our own, I create art at home through Amber Lee Designs. I love working with others and creating art for them. I get to do what I am meant to do: create art and take care of my daughter.
God has truly blessed me...I couldn’t ask for more.
